“Smells Cleaner Than Dirt” – Scrub Holiday Giveaway Winner!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Thanks to all of you who participated in our “Smells Cleaner Than Dirt” – Scrub Holiday Giveaway!

I chose to give this away on Christmas Eve because Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of year it is still full of hope and promise of the holiday season.  As I child I would wonder would I get the Doll House I asked for…would I get those special ribbon barrettes and while material things are certainly not what Christmas is about it is certainly part of the magic for children.    While I truly treasure the entire Christmas Season as it is a time spent with family and friends I think people get stressed and tired in spite of it all.  Even me who makes  a deliberate attempt to keep things low-key and harmonious found myself yesterday getting stressed to get my house clean.  Well now that most of my housework is done and most of my goodies are ready today should be an enjoyable day.  We have family coming and are heading to church this afternoon but most of all I will enjoy the time spent with my loved ones!

I will be making my holiday Latkes next week because even though we do not observe Hanukkah I once worked at a Jewish synagogue and the women there shared with me how to make them and they are amazingly delicious and I would love to share my recipe with all of you.
