This is the time of year we all need to slow down and put the brakes on and this year I am including myself. I typically don’t let myself have any rest time but I decided as much as I love blogging I am taking a break until about mid January this will give me time to recharge my batteries and also to rest. I am going to spend time with family, friends and at the gym working out.
My goal is to get the junk out of the way by Christmas Day and start adding more fruits and veggies to our diets and make sure we are getting rest, and getting plenty of fresh air and exercise and I realize I am going to miss connecting with all of you readers but I think I will be a better person for it. I plan to focus on my New Years Goals for 2014 and to make some of my plans for next year as well.
My favorite traditions at Christmas involve spending time with family, some baking, listening to music, playing games, laughing more, connecting over movies and sneaking in a few books!
I wish you a wonderful holiday season with your families! Please feel free to share with me any favorite holiday tradition you have or New Years goal you have I would love to hear them!
Merry Christmas from Our Homestead To Yours! If you don’t celebrate Christmas then enjoy this special time of reflection and The passing of the Winter Solstice. I look forward to writing again to all of you next year!
Last but not least I want to leave you all with a holiday “go to” gift idea that I submitted to From Scratch Magazine and they selected me to be part of their 12 Homestead Bloggers of Christmas I was beyond excited! Here is the blog post for our “Muddy Buddies” if you are interested!
