I wish you all a healthy and prosperous new year!
I have so enjoyed my winter break and time off from work and catching up on stuff around the house it has been a wonderful time and my brothers and I with the help of our family even threw my Dad an almost surprise Birthday party I couldn’t have asked for it to go better and I think he was quite pleased!
I am not going to write about my New Year’s resolutions for all of you to read because mine have been for the most part the same….”get fit, make more money, be a better person….” all wonderful things to aspire to and worthy goals however I think this year I want to approach 2014 that we are each the author of our own story and what will my story of 2014 look like? What will yours look like?
So a story has to have a plot line, characters, a high point, a low point (I’m not going to plan for any of these since they just seem to find their way in), and a beginning and an ending.
Well I do get to choose for the most part who the characters are in my story at least the main ones…..I choose to surround myself in my life with positive and caring people and plan to continue to do so in 2014. I made sure all folks that had toxic energy die in a volcanic eruption in Chapter 1….no I am just kidding but let’s face it if you can do it in a book you can certainly kick those folks to the curb if you need to in real life.
So I am hoping this year that I will continue to collaborate with other homesteading bloggers and learning from them and also learning from our readers here at Lil’ Suburban Homestead who always have great information to share with me!
I am hoping to write a book this year about our journey and share lots of information that I don’t always get to share here at our lil’ blog!
These are just a few of the possible chapters that lay ahead of me and I can’t wait….what do you think your story will be this year?
If I have not told you how grateful for all of my blessings I am so grateful and happy to be living in South Eastern Coastal North Carolina surrounded by my wonderful family and friends.
Fondly,

Hi KarenLynn,
I’m a big fan of lil suburban homestead and wanted to share something new that could be a nice fit for your blog. Recently we invented a product called Mom’s Mason Jar Hanger and are currently working on bringing it to market. Please check out our Kickstarter page http://kck.st/1kDtaiN where you can see a video and notes on why Mom’s Mason Jar Hanger is unique.
We think Mom’s Mason Jar Hanger could be a great story for your blog for these reasons:
Innovative – Made to utilize space previously left empty
Sleek and simple design – These things just look cool, mounted in the kitchen, in the bar or under shelves.
Made for busy people – Who has time to waste looking for things, keeping them organized and visible is a great time saver.
If you’re interested, please let me know if you have any questions or if I can facilitate you with some additional information.
Thanks for taking the time to check us out,
Jennie
