Big News! My Radio Show Is On The Move!
Yep, I can’t believe I’m saying it but my Radio Show Is Moving…
Yesterday my friend and blogging colleague Lisa Bedford the Survival Mom, made her official announcement that The Survival Mom Radio Network will not be producing new shows on her network as a radio network. I believe she will be continuing on her own shows and for that I am truly happy about that! I have loved being part of this network so it’s bittersweet for me because I’m sad to no longer be a part of this network. Lisa has mentored me in podcasting and shared her knowledge with others so freely so I will truly miss working with her and the other Survival Mom Radio Hosts. Shortly after I got the news though I quickly inquired at The Prepper Broadcasting Network about moving my show to them and my exciting news is that my radio show Lil’ Suburban Homestead with Karen Lynn has been picked up by their network APN Radio/The Prepper Broadcasting Network and my shows will start with them on Tuesday December 2, at 9pm Est. my shows will mostly be live so it’s an exciting time for me as well!
When I first thought about getting into being a podcaster I wasn’t sure where this journey was going to end for me but I have loved it every step of the way and realized this is a part of my homesteading preparedness journey that I want to continue on with and The Prepper Broadcasting Network has welcomed me and is giving me a new home which I hope you all are as excited about as much as I am! Lil’ Suburban Homestead with Karen Lynn will continue! Change is difficult but sometimes it’s a good thing and I am very excited about some of the fun things happening and I’m even collaborating with some of my fellow bloggers on projects.
My new show on Prepper Broadcasting Network will be available on itunes, stitcher, prepper radio on Android, and Media Player. They probably have more ways to follow than that!
I also have a live video streaming show that airs every other Monday at 8pm Est. on Around The Cabin this is a show that is a family show for me so me and my husband I call the Viking will be doing DIY Tutorials…Last week we showed everyone how to make lip balm,(click here to see video and scroll down to Lil’ Suburban Homestead with Karen Lynn) and we will be back on that show on Monday, December 1st and we are going to be making apple butter and dehydrating apples too and just showing folks how we do this process! Yes our kitchen has become a studio for now and it’s fun! This network is continually adding new and hosts experts in every field and I am so excited to be a part of this ground breaking live video format!
My last few shows coming up on The Survival Mom Radio Network are:
Today my show aired Lil’ Suburban Homestead: Tis’ The Season DIY Holiday Gifts & Homesteading Holiday Traditions – To listen click here!
Upcoming Shows and you won’t want to miss them are!
Lil’ Suburban Homestead: Embrace Life and Dare To Dream – Interview with Gisela Hausmann Author of Naked Determination (You won’t want to miss this one!)
Lil’ Suburban Homestead: Off-Grid Cooking In Suburbia & Recap of my favorite moments on The Survival Mom Radio Network
I will post links once they go live!
This is going to be a year chock full of content and great information! I’m excited and looking ahead and I hope you join me on the journey and by the way The Viking will be much more involved as we go forward on this new network too! Fun times!
