Farm Girl Friday Blog Hop #40

As all of you know I am a Farm Girl at Heart and in the spirit of that and I am so excited that two of my favorite bloggers are now co-hostessing the Farm Girl Friday Deb at Deborah Jean’s Dandelion House and Heidi at White Wolf Summit Farm Girls!   I thought to celebrate this that I would host the Farm Girl Friday Blog Hop here too!  This will be my first time hostessing this blog hop at my site but I have participated in several over at Deborah Jean’s site and I have learned so much from all of my fellow bloggers at that particular blog hop….it really attracts a very diverse collective of farm girls at heart!

So just jump on in and share what you are doing on your urban homestead, lil’ suburban homestead, your farm……

Are you starting your seeds, working in your greenhouse,  fretting over your bees…..pick a farm girl topic and just write away!  I can’t wait to see what all of you are doing!

This weekend the seeds are getting started it’s not optional anymore…..so soon I will be posting about my gardening strategies.

Also I have to make some more homemade napkins I said I would be doing that soon in the fall and well I have procrastinated but it’s coming…

Have a great weekend everyone!

Fondly,

my siggie :)

  1. Hi Karen Lynn! thank you for your sweet shout out about our fun Farmgirl Friday. We do have an amazing community of kind and talented farmgirls don’t we? As always, love hearing from you and what you are doing here at the Lil Suburban Homestead! Keep up the good work!

    1. Deb I have so enjoyed linking up to Farm Girl Friday and will continue to do so! I thought my blog readers might want to stop by yours and Heidi’s blogs if they had not heard of them because I am sure they will love them as much as I do!

    1. I love starting seeds but I have to start checking for viability with some of mine from the last two years this weekend…..I am not a Science person and I always feel like I am running experiments…ha ha 🙂

  2. We’re happy to have found you! I’m so jealous of your gorgeous greenhouse successes – but a bit on the lazy side for building a greenhouse any time soon. By way of introduction, I’ve added our blog response to the recent Freakonomics article “The Inefficiency of Local Food.” I hope you enjoy it!

    1. Joy I look forward to heading over to your blog! I love the title of your article and it has definitely piqued my curiousity. The Greenhouse was a complete labor of love by my hardworking husband. Thanks so much for commenting!

I Love Hearing From All Of You! Thanks for sharing!
